NUMA POMPIL Numa Pompilius standing right, holding lituus in his right hand and placing his left over lighted altar; to right, victimarius standing facing, about to sacrifice a goat standing to left. Babelon (Pomponia) 6. Crawford 334/1. RBW 1194. Sydenham 607. Beautifully toned. Struck somewhat off center from corroded dies, otherwise, about extremely fine.
